Tomatoe problems
« on: November 04, 2010, 09:27:59 PM »
Hi all,

I am having a little trouble with my tomatoes at the moment I thought they had curly leaf disease but the plants aren't stunted and the fruit is go size shape so I don't think it is that. but the leaves curl down and have a purple tinge to them. I have attached some pic. I grow my tomatoes organically the a champion planted with basil and marigolds. any help would be greatly appreciated

Looks like phosphorus deficiency.

Some organic materials  which contain phosphorus that you can add to soil are bird manures, blood & bone and rock phosphates.
