White Cabbage butterlies
« on: February 16, 2007, 02:48:02 PM »
Someone mentioned to me at a "How to attract butterflies to your garden" workshop that there is a herb (she thought it may be hyssop) you can grow among your brassicas that the beautiful little pests pefer to broccolli. Has anyone had success with companion planting to control the all out massacre of brassica by white cabbage butterflies (they are butterflies in my garden too - not moths).

Great to be connected with other passionate organic gardeners in Adelaide!

You can plant dill amongst the brassicas to keep away the white butterflies. I find it does  limit the damage to an acceptable level.
